CACHE (Council for Awards in Childcare and Education)

Tatty Bumpkin teacher training courses are now fully accredited and recognised as a professional qualification by CACHE (Council for Awards in Childcare and Education).

What is CACHE?
CACHE supports courses and qualifications in the care and education of children and young people.

Tatty Bumpkin training is one of the first courses to undergo a rigourous CACHE Endorsed Learning Programme, which assesses training mapped to the National Occupational Standards. We have worked closely with CACHE to devise units of accreditation which are scrutinised by a quality assurance panel.

In 2008 we were awarded a gold award as best activity for pre-schoolers. This is a great honour and we look forward to being nominated again in 2010 - voting starts in January, so make your vote count!

In 2006 we were awarded a bronze award as voted for by the general public, in recognition of our clases, as one of the best activities for the under 5s across the Uk

Tatty Bumpkin Training Programme has been awarded an UnLtd Social Enterprise award for its socially responsible model and work with Fair trade co-operatives, communities and individuals in the UK and abroad.

The Pre-school Learning Alliance is a leading educational charity specialising in the early years development. Providding practical support to over 15,000 early years settings and making a positive contribution to the care and education of over 800,000 young children and their families each year, the Alliance supports and actively promotes parental involvement in all aspects of their work.
